The PDF Print Guide contains instructions on how to configure Quark XPress and Acrobat Distiller to produce PDF files suitable for printing. In addition to this document you can download a zip file or we can send you a CD-ROM with the various additional files you will need. This version is currently written for Mac users running OX9 with Quark version 4.04 or higher and Adobe Acrobat version 5.0. We are working on versions for Mac users running OSX and PC users, and as soon as they are available they will be available on this page. For the time being we suggest that users with other operating systems use the Mac OS9 version and the other documents on this page as a basis - we can offer support to help you produce files in the correct format.

We can also print card wallets for your discs, with the opening either at the top or the side. These PDF files contain guides as to how to lay out your PDF file correctly for this kind of packaging.

The PDF Basic Checks document has a brief checklist so that you can confirm your PDF files are suitable for our printing system at a basic level. We will perform more detailed checks for you once you submit your files, however there are a number of basic things that are easy to check and easy to get wrong if you have not created PDF files for this process before.
