Workflow

There are three typical scenarios described here for the normal flow of a manufacturing order through our system. If you find that none of these match your situation, please contact us and we can establish something appropriate for your circumstances.

Scenario 1 - Manufacturing discs to be packaged with existing print supplied by the customer.

  • The customer supplies print and a master disc.
  • Discs are duplicated and verified against the master.
  • Discs and print are packed.
  • Discs are shrinkwrapped, if required, and shipped according to customer instructions.

Scenario 2 - Manufacturing discs and print from customer supplied PDF.

  • The customer supplies PDF file, created according to supplied instructions, and a master disc.
  • The PDF file is sent electronically to our digital printer, print is manufactured and shipped to Wyastone.
  • Discs are duplicated and verified against the master.
  • Discs and print are packed.
  • Discs are shrinkwrapped, if required, and shipped according to customer instructions.

Scenario 3 - Manufacturing discs and print from customer supplied original booklet and inlay.

  • The customer supplies a booklet and inlay and a master disc.
  • The booklet and inlay are scanned for graphics and the text extracted using OCR software. The resulting files are used to rebuild a PDF version of the original booklet and inlay.
  • The PDF file is sent electronically to our digital printer, print is manufactured and shipped to Wyastone.
  • Discs are duplicated and verified against the master.
  • Discs and print are packed.
  • Discs are shrinkwrapped, if required, and shipped according to customer instructions.
