The last few yearshave seen an extraordinary upsurge of activity in Irish traditional music and this is reflected in these recordings made at the series of Irish traditional music festivals hosted by University College, Cork between 1991 and 1995. Contemporary artists from Ireland, England and America rub shoulders with veterans from the 1930s and 1940s Irish-American dance halls.
