Norman White returns to the Summer Series and this time he introduces you to the life and career of Maria Callas, arguably the greatest opera performer of the Twentieth Century. This multi media presentation is illustrated with pictures and unique live performance recordings taken from the leading opera houses of the world.
Callas’s stage début took place in Athens, 1939 and for the next 25 years she created excitement and intrigue throughout the operatic world. This event will allow you to experience this excitement first hand and will unveil many of the myths that surrounded her life.
