Tribute to Benny Goodman

Last year Emma Johnson’s trio concert with Leon McCawley and Natalie Clein was sold out and received with rapturous applause. We are delighted to welcome her back this year for a solo recital. Emma, who is undoubtedly one of the finest and most versatile clarinettists in the World, will perform an evening in tribute to the great Benny Goodman: a man whose ability to combine his jazz roots and many inspirational partnerships with the leading classical composers of his time - Poulenc, Milhaud, and Copland among them - made him a legendary figure. Don’t miss this evening, and book your seats early!

Benny Goodman described Emma as 'a mighty fine clarinettist'.
