John Lill celebrates his 60th Birthday

John Lill is surely one of the major pianists of our time. As part of the celebrations of his 60th birthday, he will be performing both Brahms piano concertos in a single concert on Saturday July 3rd at this year's Summer Series, accompanied by the English Symphony Orchestra and William Boughton. This is likely to be one of the highlights of the summer.

Jeremy Menuhin - The Complete Mozart Piano Concertos

This Summer we embark upon a projet to perform and record the complete Mozart piano concertos, with Jeremy Menuhin and the English Symphony Orchestra. The concertos will be presented anually at the Wyastone Summer Series, and at various other festivals throughout Europe, finishing in 2010. Join us for the beginning of the cycle this year on Friday July 23rd.

Emma Johnson - Tribute to Benny Goodman

Last year Emma Johnson's trio concert with Leon McCawley and Natalie Clein was sold out and received rapturous applause. We are delighted to welcome her back this year for a solo recital. On Friday 16th July Emma will perform an evening in tribute to the great Benny Goodman, playing some of his own arrangements and some of the many works written for him by the major classical composers of his time.

These are just a few of the highlights of this year's series - for more information on each of the concerts click on the links below.
