An evening with one of the world’s great sopranos

Since winning Cardiff Singer of the World in 1995, Stockholm-born Katarina Karnéus has shot to prominence and now appears at the world’s greatest international festivals and opera houses. Her eagerly anticipated recital at Wyastone includes music from the Italian baroque, song-cycles by Wagner, Brahms and Poulenc and songs by Mahler and Rangstörm from her native Sweden.

The programme includes three much-loved song-cycles:
