Grand Orchestral Finale

A grand finale to the Summer Series conducted by its Artistic Director, William Boughton, now Music Director at New Haven Symphony Orchestra, USA. The music ranges from the mythical fairytale charm of Sibelius’ music for Pelléas and Mélisande (you’ll recognise the theme tune from The Sky at Night) to Vaughan Williams’ depiction of the timeless and serene flight of the skylark soaring over an idyllic landscape and the grandeur of Mozart’s magisterial last Symphony - the Jupiter.
