Summer Series 2008 - June 6th to July 19th

Welcome to the 2008 Wyastone Summer Series. After a break of one year it is wonderful to be renewing our acquaintance and sharing great music through outstanding performers once again.

In this ever-changing technological world music has the ability to both ground and elevate us - it speaks to the senses in a way that nothing else can, music reflects who we are as individuals, as a generation and as a society. Its power and beauty is indescribable in words and yet it explains things which would otherwise be totally incomprehensible.

Wyastone’s beautiful surroundings and perfect concert hall make it the ideal place to reflect on what is certainly one of man’s greatest achievements - the creation of music. We look forward to welcoming you to Wyastone and I can’t wait to be with you once again, for the closing concert of the Series.

William Boughton, Artistic Director
