2008 Summer Series Programme

Welcome to the 2008 Wyastone Summer Series Programme. The Series of twelve concerts this year runs from 6th June to 19th July. This year's highlights include return visits from some of our favourite performers: John Lill, playing romantic masterpieces by Schumann, Liszt, Brahms and Bach / Busoni, the Kopelman Quartet playing Shostakovich, Schubert and Weinberg, Katerina Karnéus singing Poulenc, Brahms and Wagner, Florilegium playing Baroque favourites and The City of London Sinfonia conducted by William Boughton in the last concert of the season. We also welcome some newcomers - The Aurora Orchestra, Gothic Voices, Fibonacci Sequence, London Mozart Players and London Winds. The outstanding Gwilym Simcock Trio is our Jazz concert of the season, and the Band of the Royal Engineers and Bridgend Male Choir bring their usual touch of pomp to the proceedings.

Friends of Wyastone

Wyastone has a thriving Friends’ scheme which will keep you up to date with all the latest developments at the Concert Hall as well as offering priority booking and a 10% discount on concert tickets. Membership costs £40.00 (double) £30.00 (single) annually (1 April to 31 March). For more information and to download an application form please click here.

Parking

Parking for all visitors is in the water meadow. There is no charge and the park is open all day. There is no parking at the Concert Hall, except for wheelchair users. Parking space in the upper car park has been reserved for visitors who are registered disabled or who require extra assistance. A shuttle service will operate to and from the Hall before and after the concerts. Please ask the Box Office for more information.

Wyastone is fully equipped to meet your needs and our catering team can always meet your requirements and budget.
