New Event Manager / Festival Administrator for the Nimbus Foundation

The Nimbus Foundation at Wyastone Leys, Monmouth, have appointed Peter Reynolds as their new Events Manager / Festival Administrator as of January 2008.

In this new post Peter will concentrate on managing the bi-yearly Summer Concert Series and developing the commercial possibilities of the Concert Hall. He will also spearhead the Foundation’s new Young Artist Programme - an educational project through which promising young musicians from major conservatoires around the world will be heard at the Concert Hall and also be given the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills, drawing on the unique range of experience found at Nimbus. The 2008 Summer Concert Series will be launched at the Concert Hall at Wyastone Leys on Thursday 17 January at 7pm.

Peter Reynolds comes to the post with a wide range of experience of working in the arts industry. He has managed both the Lower Machen and Vale of Glamorgan Festivals, was Artistic Director of PM Music Ensemble and has worked widely in arts marketing. He is also a writer on music. Most recently he was responsible for devising, setting up and programming a series of free concerts given in the foyer of the Wales Millennium Centre - some 500 performances per year.
