John McCormack and Fritz Kreisler 1910-1925
John McCormack, whose record sales rivalled those of his friend Enrico Caruso, sang everything from opera and oratorio through lieder, art songs, folk songs, to the popular songs of the day. Most of the finest musicians of the day were personally known to him, but only a small number were members of his inner circle. Prominent amongst them was Fritz Kreisler.
