Harvey Orchestral Works

Madonna of Winter and Spring, for orchestra, synthesizers and electronics, was composed in honor of Mary, mother of Jesus. The Piece portrays the action of her soft, yielding influence on forces which are assertive, brutal or despondent.

My Percussion Concerto was written for Evelyn Glennie and commissioned by the BBC for the Promenade Concerts, 1997. It is mostly for marimba and vibraphone and is in three movements.
