Reviews:
"This tribute to Margaret Whiting spans a period of eight years from 1942, the year she signed for Capitol Records at the age of 17. As the daughter of songwriter Richard Whiting she grew up surrounded by music, and three of his compositions are included, as are five duets with Johnny Mercer, Jimmy Wakely, Bob Hope, and Dean Martin. The superb accompaniments were provided by Freddie Slack, Billy Butterfield, Paul Weston, Jerry Gray, Frank DeVol, and Billy May. Remastering is excellent, and there's a full discography and an informative liner note. Margaret possessed to a high degree the facility of illuminating the lyrics, and listening to this reissue is a sublime experience." - Barry McCanna
