Resolana - Songs from Argentina

Eduardo Falú is a unique figure in the musical life of Argentina. Born in El Galpon, a small village in the province of Salta, his great love for music, and in particular guitar, emerged in early life. He studied formal classical composition with the renowned Argentinian composer Carlos Gustavino yet also, his travels, concerts and research, became steeped in the popular genres of his country.

This disc features Eduardo’s songs, his arrangements of contemporary Argentinean poetry, coupled with settings of typical Argentinean dances from the pampas and mountains. Together they represent his deep affection for the music and literature of his homeland.
