Riccardo Stracciari 1917-1925

The excerpts on this disc are representative of a number of Stracciari's major roles. The voice was well captured by Columbia and the listener will be particularly struck by the virility and richness of sound in the recordings which were made between 1917 and 1925 when Stracciari was at the peak of his powers.
